We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director - MEP to join our engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this leadership role, you will oversee the design, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

  • Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines and budgets
  • Develop and implement innovative MEP design strategies that optimize energy efficiency and sustainability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and construction managers, to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed MEP drawings, specifications, and calculations using advanced software tools
  • Conduct regular project reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain design excellence
  • Manage client relationships and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders effectively
  • Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Contribute to business development efforts by participating in proposal preparation and client presentations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the MEP department to enhance efficiency and innovation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required; LEED AP certification is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial or industrial projects
  • Expert knowledge of MEP systems design, integration, and sustainable design practices
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, AutoCAD, and energy modeling tools
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
  • In-depth understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make decisive engineering decisions
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
