We are looking for an Associate Director Regional Medical Affairs to join our Biopharma Medical Affairs organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the local and regional medical affairs strategy, acting as a key scientific partner to internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring high‑quality scientific exchange, compliance, and evidence generation across the country/region.

What your responsibilities will be

  • Lead and execute the country/regional Medical Affairs strategy, representing the medical function internally and externally, including interactions with health authorities and cross‑functional teams.
  • Build and maintain strategic scientific partnerships with KOLs, driving meaningful medical exchange and collecting relevant medical insights.
  • Manage, coach, and develop Medical Affairs field teams (MSLs/MAMs), ensuring effective execution and compliance.
  • Oversee scientific communication and education, including medical content review, medical inquiries, congress participation, and internal training.
  • Lead local evidence generation activities (ISRs, RWE, NIS, research grants) and ensure budget management, governance, and compliance with company policies.

Who you are

  • University degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Medicine; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong scientific expertise with the ability to interpret clinical and scientific data.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and high ethical standards.
  • Willingness to travel.
