Job Description

The Regional Field Marketing Manager will be accountable for executing a comprehensive field marketing strategy aligned with global business objectives. This individual will oversee field marketing teams within a sales region, enabling the organization to gather insights into regional market dynamics, activate campaigns, enable the sales teams, and nurture key customer relationships. They will work in close collaboration with global marketing and regional sales leadership to drive growth and achieve business goals. They will guide the field marketing organization toward success by coaching and developing field marketing talent.

How You will Make an impact

  • Oversees the field marketing for a region with sales.
  • Lead the execution of the Global Field Marketing Strategy within the selling region.
  • Uses acquired expertise to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent.
  • Enable sales to activate Go to Market strategies.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the field marketing team.
  • Consolidate and report on Market Dynamics.
  • Execute regional marketing tactics that support the global field marketing plan.
  • Maintain alignment with product marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging for regional programs.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to ensure that local strategies harmonize with global marketing plans.
  • Translate the Go-to-Market plan (GTM) and goals into practical quarterly targets, initiatives, and metrics for each region and business unit.
  • Report on GTM plan performance to Regional Field Marketing Leadership.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales leaders to execute field marketing programs and campaigns to support sales objectives.
  • Analyze the sales cycle, channel mix, and customer segmentation to optimize the selling process across different customer segments and personas.
  • Ensure successful lead/opportunity capture, nurture, and delivery to the sales teams.
  • Implement targeted campaigns tailored to specific in-field needs not covered by the global plan ensuring consistent branding and messaging, with the global team.
  • Set KPIs in alignment with the GTM plan.
  • Travel with field marketing team in the region, to provide coaching and feedback on performance.
  • Complete performance reviews and other performance management responsibilities for the team.
  • Develop and maintain expertise on market analysis including VoC and VoS.
  • Synthesize, consolidate, and report on local market dynamics to Field Marketing and Sales leadership within the selling region.
  • Assist team to manage KOLs and other customer relationships as necessary.

What You Bring

  • Deep knowledge of local markets in the selling region.
  • Skilled in performance management.
  • A knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Proficiency in driving revenue through highly effective marketing and measuring results.
  • Skilled in building positive relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams, across multiple departments and functions.
  • Customer centric, creative, and visionary thinker.
  • Proficient problem solver and data driven decision maker.
  • Can work independently and is accountable to team performance.
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, clinical sciences, or marketing. Preferred: MBA with a marketing focus.
  • 10-12 years of proven work experience with a mix of marketing, strategic, technical, and business background.
  • A minimum of 2 years marketing experience including upstream and downstream activities
  • Experience working in a field marketing team is an advantage.
  • Sales Experience is an advantage.
