Job Description

Kargo creates powerful moments of connection between brands and consumers to build businesses. Every day, our dynamic teams work to radically raise the bar on what agentic AI, CTV, eCommerce, social, and mobile can do to deliver unique ad experiences across the world’s most premium platforms. Taking a Creative Science approach to all we do, we continuously innovate solutions that outperform industry benchmarks and client expectations. Who We Hire

Techies who want to build the future. Creatives who want to design it better. Communicators to win business. Collaborators to build it. Data pros who turn numbers into insights. Product builders who turn ideas into innovations. Anyone eager to be on a team that doesn’t stop to ask what’s next, because they’re already building it.

The Opportunity

Kargo is looking for a driven Associate Director, Inventory Partnerships to join our Inventory team, reporting to the Senior Director, Inventory Partnerships. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who plays offense: you spot revenue opportunities before they’re obvious, catch problems before partners feel them, and turn healthy accounts into growing ones.

The Daily To-Do

  • Own, grow, and deepen strategic relationships with key inventory partners
  • Lead partner meetings, QBRs, and growth planning conversations that connect partner goals with Kargo solutions and expansion opportunities
  • Analyze account, yield, inventory, and performance data to identify trends, diagnose risks, and recommend strategic optimizations
  • Proactively identify technical, integration, or monetization issues before they escalate, partnering with Sales Engineering, Product, Yield, and Operations to resolve them
  • Translate publisher feedback and market trends into clear internal recommendations for product, yield, and operational improvements
  • Identify and drive incremental revenue opportunities through consultative account planning, inventory strategy, and data-driven recommendations
  • Own end to end partner integrations with adoption of our high impact and differentiated formats in collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in publisher/supply partnerships, digital media, ad tech, SSP/DSP, platform account management, or a related partner-facing role
  • An existing book of inventory relationships you can activate from day one
  • A track record of growing account revenue, not just maintaining it, and proven ability to own complex, high-value publisher relationships that support retention and long-term partner success
  • Strong understanding of publisher monetization, programmatic advertising, yield optimization, inventory strategy, and supply-side operations
  • Technical fluency with publisher integrations, ad serving, reporting platforms, discrepancy investigation, performance troubleshooting, and escalation management
  • Strong analytical chops paired with excellent partner-facing communication and presentation skills, including advanced Excel and comfort using dashboards to turn performance data into clear business recommendations
  • Genuine curiosity about where the industry is going and a habit of being early to it

In accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below.
