The Opportunity:

We are expanding our Advisory practice in Perth and are looking for an Associate Director to help build the next phase of our growth. You will play a central role in shaping and delivering HKA’s offerings across Mining & Resources, Energy, Utilities and Government, working on major, complex projects where outcomes matter.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and delivering complex advisory engagements across sectors
• Providing strategic and risk-based advice across project delivery, governance, cost, schedule and performance.
• Supporting clients and industry stakeholders in navigating project complexity.
• Building trusted relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Identifying business development opportunities to grow HKA service offerings.
• Contributing to the growth of HKA’s Advisory offering in Australia.

Skills and Experience:

We are seeking individuals with proven project experience and an in-depth knowledge of advisory principles.

Ideally, you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience in infrastructure advisory or management consulting.
• Experience working on large-scale, complex projects in the energy, mining, and renewables sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate technical issues into strategic actions.
• Track record of contributing to or leading business development activities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels in complex, dynamic environments.
• Passion for continuous learning and development, with a focus on enhancing team capabilities, knowledge sharing and performance management.
• Degree in engineering, mining, project management, geology, business, quantity surveying, law, commerce, or similar.
