Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a proactive relationship with a specific portfolio of Financial Institution Group (FIG) Malaysia’s clients.

• Support Director, Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) in formulating the business strategy of NBFIs with the aim to achieve target revenue without compromising on credit quality and operational quality and develop new profitable business relationships.

• Identify and develop cross border/functional product business opportunities.

• Assist in the development of Relationship Managers and Support Staff of FIG Department.

• Understand the client’s position within the industry, business strategies, strategic priorities and their plans to achieve them as well as identifying the opportunities and risks facing the client.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers for all types of solutions/ transactions.

• Take the lead in sizing the wallet potential of key clients, with inputs from all relevant product partners.

• Prepare calling plan prior to client visit to establish objectives and explore needs with the aim of matching products with the Value Proposition.

• Ensure credit applications for new & existing facilities, including renewals, are correctly prepared in accordance to group standards.

• Ensure clients receive top quality service and understand areas of potential problems.

• CA preparation and provide recommendation for approval.

• Ensure no unexpected credit losses.

• Ensure compliance with the Group’s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to Money Laundering and KYC.



Key Requirements

• Basic Degree in Accounting, Business Finance, Economics or other business management disciplines.

• At least 5 years’ experience in relationship management with at least 2 years in covering the NBFI segment.

• Good knowledge in various product offerrings to NBFIs, including cash clearing, trade, custody, treasury and capital market.

• Strong credit knowledge.
