This role is an exciting role to lead the global promotional strategy and execution for the upcoming Hypochondroplasia launch of VOXZOGO. This individual will have a history of highly effective brand management, with the ability to guide decision making, build trust, align teams and deliver the launch. 
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Marketing for Skeletal Conditions, this role will lead key tactical initiatives to support the global growth and ongoing commercialization of VOXZOGO in Skeletal Conditions BU.  S/he will lead value creating workstreams, working across regions and developing strong partnerships with our key markets, market access, medical affairs, patient advocacy, corporate communications, business insights, digital strategy and scientific communications.
This position is a critical brand role on the and the global marketing core team.   This role will have a high degree of visibility across senior leadership, global commercial leadership, and functional leadership outside of commercial.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Marketing:
  • Commercial Strategy & Tactical Execution
  • Lead development of the integrated tactical plan for VOXZOGO Hypochondroplasia
  • Deliver & ensure consistent branding, positioning, and messaging platforms across markets
  • Partner closely with Business Insights and Analytics, Digital, Medical Affairs and Market Access to align evidence generation strategy and priorities
  • Develop, track, and monitor impact of key brand performance metrics
Product Launch and Lifecycle Management
  • Effectively partner with Medical Affairs, Digital, Business Insights, Regulatory, Value and Access, Patient Advocacy, Corporate Communications, Scientific Communications, Strategic Markets and Regions to develop and execute promotional strategy
  • Lead all congress activities associated with Hypochondroplasia
Internal and External Engagement
  • Be an ambassador for VOXZOGO
  • Demonstrate strong external focus by active engagement with key stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders and Patient Advocacy Groups
  • Represent the brand and commercial point of view in cross-functional forums and governance meetings
  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access and key global cross functional partners to align strategy and priorities 
  • Partner closely with key market leaders to develop pipeline strategy in line with market needs  
  • Manage budget and external partners effectively  
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
  • BA/BS in Business or Life Sciences (MBA preferred) 
  • 7+ years of professional marketing experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals 
  • Track record of in-country (ideally across major markets), regional and global marketing roles with demonstrated ability working with in-country and cross functional partners 
  • Working knowledge and understanding of multiple major pharmaceutical markets 
  • Understanding of market access and medical strategy 
  • Experience planning and executing launch products and developing lifecycle management plans/providing commercial input to clinical development 
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills, comfortable with complexity and ambiguity 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis, including revenue projection and NPV analysis, to support asset and portfolio prioritization. Leverage these tools to evaluate financial viability and optimize strategic trade-off decisions 
  • Strong communication skills, ability to tell a compelling story and interact with senior leaders 
  • Success interacting at all levels of a matrix organizations cross-functionally and cross-geography 
  • Strong sense of accountability and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and high-pressure environment, flexible and adaptable to a changing environment 
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and drive decision making 
  • Self-starter who demonstrates energy and enthusiasm, bringing a positive solution-oriented approach to challenges 
  • A passion for improving patient and business outcomes 
  • Ability to travel 25% of time (domestic and international) 
Preferred Requirements: 
  • Sales experience preferred  
  • Marketing or launch experience strongly preferred  
  • Rare disease experience preferred
