
Associate Director, HIV Global Marketing Engagement, DHH
Our Digital Human Health (DHH) team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of engaging, interacting with our customers and patients leveraging digital, data and analytics and measuring the impact. The Associate Director of Global Marketing Engagement for HIV will lead development and delivery of data and analytics, generate strategic insights, and assist in addressing key business questions from the HIV Global Marketing team to inform current and future pipeline HIV asset and portfolio strategies.
This role works closely with multiple cross-functional teams including global marketing, regional marketing, forecasting, market research, payer insights & analytics, digital solutions, clinical, outcomes research, medical affairs, and other functions within DHH.
This role will require interfacing and collaborating with multiple teams which may not share the same reporting line. The candidate needs to have proven consistent leadership skills and have led cross functional teams in their prior roles, demonstrate the ability to create a strong sense of team culture and embody a culture of continuous learning. Effective communication skills are essential to be successful.
Primary Responsibilities:
Portfolio analytics: Lead development of commercial data and insights for Global HIV portfolio (i.e. market understanding, patient journey, physician segmentation, market mapping, patient funnel validations & analogue benchmarking.) Conceptualize set of analytics capabilities and tools anchored to our marketing and launch frameworks to support decision making for HIV including patient insights, L3 early framework.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global marketing teams, DHH teams, and other cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and increase commercial rigor through all phases of pipeline asset development. Serve as the Insights & Analytics quarterback to address key business questions through digital, data and analytics capabilities.
Strategy Enablement Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Prioritization meetings, etc. Synthesize & document key trade-off decisions and DHH aspirations for executive audiences via active updates to ongoing inventory of projects/initiatives (Book of Work).
Analytics Delivery: Proactively manage projects delivery with expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel-VBA, PowerBI or similar technologies and capabilities. Leverage a variety of patient modeling techniques including statistical, patient-flow, and simulations-based techniques for insight generation.
Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science or business-related field
5+ years of relevant experience in insights & analytics, strategic planning, advanced analytics, market research, marketing or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
Strong communication skills using effective storytelling grounded on data insights
Comfortable formulating actionable insights and recommendations from commercial analytics into presentations
Deep understanding of Real-world data assets and commercial healthcare data ecosystem
Experience conducting secondary data analytics on large datasets using relevant skills
Relationship-building, problem solving and influencing skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Advanced degree (e.g. MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred
Experience in diverse healthcare datasets, insights, and analytics
Experience in Life Science or consulting industry
Deep knowledge and expertise in the Global Life Sciences Analytics space: US and Ex-US datasets, market research, forecasting, advanced analytics, predictive analytics, competitive intelligence, etc.
HIV and/or Infectious Disease experience

The salary range for this role is
$156,900.00 - $247,000.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
