Job Title: Associate Director
Function: Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)

Role & Responsibilities
Uniqus is seeking looking for an experienced and driven Associate Director with a Financial Services
background to join our ARC team. The role involves delivering high-impact advisory services to clients in the
banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech sectors, with a focus on complex IFRS matters, regulatory
reporting, and transaction accounting.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile FS clients and complex financial reporting
engagements in a fast-paced and dynamic market.
Responsibilities:
• Lead high-impact accounting advisory engagements for clients across banking, insurance, and investment sectors
• Provide technical guidance on IFRS (including IFRS 9, IFRS 17, IFRS 7, IFRS 10, IFRS 16) and regulatory reporting
standards
• Advise on complex financial transactions, standard implementations, and transformation programs
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and accounting policies
• Develop strategic client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior finance leaders
• Drive business development efforts including proposals, pitches, and new client acquisition
• Manage multiple project teams, ensuring quality delivery, client satisfaction, and efficient resource utilization
• Collaborate with global delivery teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver seamless, tech-enabled
solutions
• Mentor and coach junior team members, contributing to talent development and capability building

• 10–14 years of experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or audit, with a strong focus on
Financial Services clients
• Deep technical expertise in IFRS, especially standards impacting FS clients (IFRS 9, IFRS 17, IFRS 7, etc.)
• Prior experience in a Big 4 or leading consulting firm is highly preferred
• Proven experience in client engagement, solution delivery, and team leadership
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment in the GCC
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Professional qualification: SOPCA/CA/ACCA/CPA
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
