Lead at the forefront of strategic financial thinking in a role that is both visionary and hands-on, shaping how one of Australia’s leading universities evolves itsbudgetoperating model As Associate Director, Financial Frameworks and Analytics, you willplay a pivotal rolein the design and stewardship of enterprise-wide financial frameworks, modelling capability, and performance insights that guide senior decision-making.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a functionwhere you will play a key role in transforming manual processesandstrengtheningdata-driven insightsWorking within a highly collaborative Finance function, you will partner closely withseniorleaders to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of analytical rigour, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring financial frameworks are practical, consistent, and support impactful outcomes across the University.

About You
You are astrategic finance leader witha strong foundationin financial modelling, forecasting, and performance analysis within complex organisations. You bring deepexpertisein developing and governing financial frameworks and a proven ability to apply robust analytical methods to inform high-level decision-making.
A confident communicator and trusted advisor, you excel at translating complex or incomplete information into concise, compelling insights for executive audiences. You are collaborative and influential, with the ability to build capability in others, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and drive alignment across diverse teams. Your leadership style is both thoughtful and ambitious, underpinned by strong judgement and a commitment to continuous improvement.
