Position Salary Range: $5,880 - $8,820 per month
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $7,300 - $7,834 per month.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

About the Department/Position:
Under the general direction of the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the Associate Director provides leadership, oversight, and supervision of daily operations to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all federal, state, and institutional aid programs. The Associate Director interprets and implements complex federal, state, and CSU regulations, exercises sound judgment in resolving unusual or complex student cases, and reviews appeals related to eligibility and award decisions. The incumbent establishes and monitors quality assurance measures, oversees verification processes, conducts internal audits, and ensures compliance and data integrity. The Associate Director also provides annual verification and compliance training and maintains the Financial Aid Policies and Procedures Manual to ensure consistent application of all standards. In the Director's absence, the Associate Director serves as the Acting Director, ensuring operational continuity and coordination with campus partners, the Chancellor's Office, and external agencies. The position also contributes to strategic planning and continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.
