In this role, you'll:

Working as part of the Technical Services Engineering Design Assurance team this role will see you lead engineering, integration and delivery coordination across the Linewide package and interface with TSMO and Station Packages.

The role provides technical leadership across the Linewide scope, including :


• Mechanical Systems for rail infrastructure, including HVAC systems, tunnel ventilation, fire and life safety mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, lifts and escalators, and mechanical plant for stations, tunnels and stabling facilities.


• Subject matter expert of system integration and control interfaces, including BMCS and SCADA integration and IRCS operational control interfaces.


• Electrical Systems for rail infrastructure, including HV and LV distribution systems, non-traction substations and auxiliary power systems, standby and emergency power systems (UPS, generators), and earthing and bonding (non-traction systems).

Operating under the direction of the Director Systems Lead, you will ensure that Linewide-delivered systems and interfacing package systems are integrated to achieve a safe, reliable and operable railway.

About you

You have In-depth knowledge of engineering assurance, systems engineering, and integration practices aligned to large-scale infrastructure delivery.


You have demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and managing design, assurance and integration across complex interfaces.


You have proven ability to integrate E&M systems within broader TSMO and IRCS architecture to ensure interoperability, safety, and whole-of-life performance.


Yuo have demonstrated expertise in Electrical Systems/Mechanical Systems for rail infrastructure, including HV and LV distribution systems, non-traction substations and auxiliary power systems, standby and emergency power systems (UPS, generators), and earthing and bonding (non-traction systems).
