About Contour

Contour Software has grown from a dozen people to over 2,000 staff across 3 cities, in less than 14 years.

As a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., we are proud to be part of a global enterprise software conglomerate that has grown to become one of the top 10 software companies in the world, with employees and customers in 100+ countries. With a broad-based and ever-growing portfolio of market-leading, vertical-market enterprise solutions covering more than 100 industry domains in predominantly mature markets, CSI's recipe creates the perfect environment for professionals to build fulfilling, long-term careers.

What started as an R&D & Accounting back-office, has progressed into a full-service Global Centre serving all functions and departments, at the divisional as well as operating group/corporate level. Today Contour employees, located in Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad, are serving CSI divisions located in time zones spanning the globe, from Sydney to Vancouver. With the global growth of Constellation as the wind in our sails, we are only just getting started!

Andromeda Software, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), acquires vertical market software companies with a permanent ownership mandate — giving each business a stable, long-term home and the tools to become a market leader. The Associate Director / Director, M&A Execution is a senior individual contributor role embedded within the Boson Portfolio, responsible for owning end-to-end deal execution across the MENA and APAC markets. This is a high-accountability seat: the person in this role carries transactions from initial qualification through signed close, while also lending financial oversight to acquired business units as the portfolio grows.

This role operates at the intersection of financial analysis, corporate finance, and relationship management. The successful candidate will bring deep technical craft — advanced modelling, rigorous diligence, sharp instincts on business quality — alongside the stakeholder engagement skills needed to build trusted relationships with founders, senior executives, investment bankers, lawyers, and accountants. They will work closely with the VP of M&A and the EVP of Finance, contributing original analysis and judgement while owning execution on each transaction with minimal supervision.

Andromeda's decentralized model puts ownership of execution squarely with the people closest to the deals. The Associate Director / Director will be that person in the region — bringing solutions to every diligence challenge, surfacing risks early, and applying intellectual curiosity to understand not just the numbers, but the business behind them. As the Boson portfolio and team scale, this role's scope will evolve, with increasing focus and specialization matched to the growth of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:
M&A Execution -Lead and Own Deal Processes:

  • Lead transaction execution from initial target qualification through to closing, working in close collaboration with the VP of M&A and with guidance from the EVP of Finance; take personal ownership of deal timelines, quality of work, and outcomes.
  • Qualify acquisition targets early — engaging directly with founders and senior executives, reviewing initial materials, and forming an informed view on strategic fit and deal probability before committing deeper resources.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis on target company statements and underlying data, identifying trends, assessing business quality, and building a picture of sustainable earnings and risks with precision and intellectual rigour.
  • Build financial models in Excel to support valuation analysis; ensure models are accurate, well-documented, and defensible under diligence scrutiny.
  • Draft offer letters, term sheets, and deal documents; lead or participate in negotiation of deal terms, drawing on a clear understanding of CSI / Andromeda's buy-box criteria.
  • Coordinate the due diligence process through to closing — managing multiple internal and external workstreams (legal, financial, operational, IT) simultaneously and keeping all parties aligned on timelines and deliverables.

Target Relationship Management:

  • Maintain high-quality, ongoing relationships with decision-makers at acquisition targets throughout the deal lifecycle — from first contact through post-close.
  • Represent Andromeda well in every external interaction; exercise professional judgement and polish when engaging with business owners, investment bankers, legal counsel, and accountants on behalf of the Boson team.
  • Communicate clearly and succinctly with external counterparties, tailoring the level of detail and tone to the audience — from owner-operated SMEs to sophisticated institutional intermediaries.
  • Surface issues and relationship dynamics early so the VP of M&A and EVP of Finance can make informed decisions without surprises.

Financial Oversight of Acquired Business Unit:

  • As needed, provide financial and accounting oversight of MENA-region BUs following acquisition, ensuring continuity and accuracy of reporting at both the unit and group level.
  • Facilitate finance integration of newly acquired businesses — working collaboratively with BU finance leads and the Boson portfolio team to establish reporting cadences, controls, and processes consistent with Andromeda standards.
  • Identify integration risks early and escalate with a proposed path forward; bring a problem-solving orientation to post-close challenges rather than waiting for direction.

Team Contribution and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to junior M&A Execution team members as the Boson team grows; share what you know, make onboarding easier for others, and set a high bar for work quality through example.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Andromeda's M&A processes and tools — flagging what is working and what is not, and helping refine diligence frameworks over time.
  • Collaborate with the broader Andromeda Home Office and IMO functions as required, sharing insights on regional market dynamics and target characteristics that improve portfolio-level decision-making.
  • Bring constructive energy and intellectual curiosity to team discussions; be the kind of colleague who raises questions, surfaces ideas, and makes the team's collective work stronger.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
  • CPA / CA designation, CFA, and/or MBA are strong assets and will be considered favourably.

Experience:

  • 10–15+ years of progressive experience at a top-tier accounting firm, capital advisory firm, investment bank, and/or private equity firm.
  • 3–5 years of mid-market deal experience executing transactions end-to-end is mandatory; candidates without direct deal execution experience will not be considered.
  • 5+ years in a financial controller and/or financial management role is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience working with small, owner-managed businesses as a client or acquisition target.
  • Buy-side experience is a plus but not required.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Advanced Excel proficiency and exceptional financial modelling skills; able to build, stress-test, and explain a detailed valuation model independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, succinct reports and present analysis confidently to senior executives, business owners, and professional advisors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously without compromising accuracy.
  • Confidence and professional polish in frequent interaction with Senior Executives, Business Owners, Investment Bankers, Lawyers, Accountants, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work variable hours and travel within the MENA / GCC region and to Canada as required to support active transactions.
  • Must be physically located in the MENA region (UAE, KSA, Turkey, Egypt, or Jordan preferred) with all residence and work authorizations required for the country of location; the company does not provide work authorization.

What makes the role unique:

This is not a deal-support role or a financial analysis seat. It is a high-ownership individual contributor position within a growing regional platform, where the Associate Director / Director takes genuine end-to-end responsibility for deal execution and leaves behind a track record of closed transactions and integrated businesses. The Boson portfolio is actively building its MENA and APAC presence, which means the person in this role will have real influence over how the platform develops — the deals it does, the businesses it brings on, and the financial infrastructure it builds across the region.

Andromeda's culture is decentralized and close to the business — low on bureaucracy, high on ownership and craft. The right candidate will find the scope, the autonomy, and the stretch they need to grow into broader responsibility over time. As the Boson team scales, this role grows with it. And as part of a CSI operating group with a permanent ownership mandate, this is a place to build for the long term — not to close a fund or flip a portfolio, but to become genuinely excellent at finding, evaluating, and integrating great software businesses in a dynamic region.
