This is an opportunity to be a part of an entrepreneurial and nimble team within an established firm that is on a multi-year journey to unlock the full potential of data and distribution intelligence tools to strengthen and grow the business.

The Associate Director of Business Intelligence will play a critical role in driving data strategy, analytics, and reporting across the organization. This leader will oversee the design and delivery of BI solutions that enable data-driven decision making, operational efficiency, and business growth. The role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with analytics platforms, experienced in modern data management practices, and adept at translating business needs into scalable BI solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analytics & Reporting

  • Drive the design, development, and optimization of dashboards and reports using Tableau
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting to support decision-making
  • Oversee advanced analytics, including forecasting, segmentation, and performance measurement

• Data Management

  • Manage BI data pipelines and integrations across Snowflake and DBT ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Partner with technology teams to maintain data quality, governance, and compliance standards
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains in reporting and analytics

• Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders, understanding needs and shaping BI solutions to deliver value
  • Lead cross-functional projects, balancing competing priorities and ensuring successful delivery
  • Communicate insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Operational Excellence

  • Drive process improvements and establish best practices in BI development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Champion the adoption of self-service analytics across the organization
  • Monitor and measure the impact of BI initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals

• Leadership & Strategy

  • Partner with BI leads to define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Mentor and develop a junior analysts and BI developers
  • Foster a culture of data literacy, ensuring insights are accessible and actionable across the business

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Experience:

o 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, and data management

o Proven track record of leading BI teams and delivering large-scale data initiatives

o Expertise in Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx (or similar ETL tools), and SQL

o Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and cloud-based data platforms

Skills:

o Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities

o Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
