Job Description
The Associate Director, Data Integrations will be responsible for implementing the integration of data across various systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy. This role requires a deep understanding of data integration techniques, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads large‑scale, multi‑year data / platform programs (re‑platforming, migrations, enterprise integrations)
- Strong stakeholder influence; comfortable navigating senior forums and moving decisions forward
- Operates effectively without formal authority in matrixed, global environments
- Can deputize for leadership in governance, steering committees, and cross‑org initiatives
- Consulting mindset : frames problems, structures options, and pragmatically executes
- Bias for action and outcomes; comfortable operating in evolving or imperfect conditions
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of data management, data & analytics tools and platforms and product operations. The candidate should foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Lead and manage the data integration team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide strategic guidance across data integration initiatives, helping shape decisions on integration design, feasibility, and prioritization across the enterprise
- Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and develop integration plan and roadmap.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices and data governance policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data integration and recommend improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- 12–15 years of experience leading enterprise-scale data integration or data engineering programs, with strong expertise in complex data ecosystems and cross‑platform integrations.
- Experience in re‑platforming, migrations, or complex integrations
- Strong knowledge of data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, API, middleware).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Desired Skills
- 12-15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on provider data management in a healthcare setting.
- 5+ years of people management experience. Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at a senior leadership level, including addressing complex business challenges
