What You Will Do

Guidehouse is looking for an experienced Associate Director to oversee contract project management.This position will be manage the development and routing of GMS contracts, typically prepared in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat. In addition to working with the Sales Capture Lead, Solutions Team, Business Development, Legal and Operations leadership, this position calls for a collaborative professional with a positive strategic outlook, excellent communication, writing, editing, and project management skills.

At Guidehouse, the contract project management Associate Director always works as part of a team, collaborating with our consultants, management, and executives. This position will typically manage more than one contract concurrently, but will have input and support from various teams across the organization. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality contract with attention to detail. The Associate Director – Contract Project Management position should be able to work at times in the evenings or weekends as required to meet deliverable deadlines.

Contract Management:

·Manage the contract development process from beginning to end, in accordance with the defined contracting process.The initial draft of the contract will be requested by the Sales Capture Lead through Legal.

·An Associate Director - Contract Project Management is expected to have the following capabilities:

oEngage with client teams and senior executives to guide some of our most important opportunities through the contracting process.

oLead/ facilitate drafting meetings with the key stakeholders to capture the details of the transaction in the contract; contributing to language development; and providing insights on how to capture all the necessary terms in the contract.

oWrite a first draft of a contract in collaboration with the Sales Capture Lead.

oInvolve the relevant Capability Leads and other subject matter experts in the drafting and review of the contract.

oEnsure feedback from all stakeholders is considered and evaluated by the Sales Capture Lead before the contract is finalized.

oProvide updated versions of the contract(s) to the Sales Capture Lead for client feedback.

oManager the redlines and ongoing negotiations of the terms of the contract.

·Coordinate the Contract Manager to run an AI summary of the key contract terms.

·Perform detailed analyses of the contracts, noting any compliance issues or inconsistencies/ conflicting terms.

·Establish and maintain communications among teammates using collaborative tools, phone calls, e-mail, etc.

·Facilitate contract development through the effective use of AI and other technology

·Own all sections of the contract, responsible for obtaining input from all key stakeholders in the development of a contract.

·Coordinate with pricing staff to ensure that the terms in the financial model match the terms in the contract.

·Proof work to minimize errors; rework errors.

·Ensure that all documentation relevant to the contract is retained in accordance with company and department procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

Develop training and orientation on contract development processes, including training for capture leaders.

What You Will Need

·Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

·Eight (8) + years of experience in project management is required.

·Demonstrated skills in driving improvements or efficiencies as a project manager.

·Advanced skills in Word, SharePoint, and PDF.

·High level of attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

·Ability to coordinate the development of multiple contracts simultaneously, which requires strong organizational and time management skills, and multi-tasking abilities.

·Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into clear communications.

·Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and SharePoint.

·Experience working effectively with AI tools

·Superior communication, writing, formatting, editing, and proofing skills.

·Excellent customer service with individuals at all levels both internal and external, and an ability to take direction as well as give direction.



What Would Be Nice To Have

·Experience on the client service side.

The annual salary range for this position is $92,000.00-$153,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
