Job Description

General Summary:

The Associate Director of Clinical Site Payments is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the Site Payments team and ensures that the goals and objectives of the department are met. This role will be accountable for global site payment oversight in support of clinical programs, real world operations studies, and engaging, managing, and redefining stakeholder relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and consultancy to the global Site Payments team
  • Oversee resource forecasting and assignments for the Site Payments team
  • Provide subject matter expertise related to financial trending, analytics, data consolidation, and report standardization
  • Make strategic recommendations regarding site payment strategies and provide guidance when needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative results
  • Identify, develop, and ensure delivery of appropriate training and process documentation for the Site Payments team
  • May include line management for site payment managers, site payment leads, and site payment analysts, as appropriate
  • Liase with FSP or CRO management, as appropriate
  • Management of quality events and process issues identified within the Site Payments team
  • Oversee Inspection Readiness and collaborate on cross-functional Vendor & Business Management Inspection Readiness activities and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Clinical Budget Management and Site Contracting to maintain alignment and efficiencies within Clinical Site Contracting and Payments
  • Liaise with Clinical Site Contracting, Clinical Budget Management, and Patient & Site Engagement teams
  • Build and maintain collaborative, cross-functional relationships to support the business
  • Additional duties and projects, as requested

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years in clinical development including knowledge of site contracts, budgets, or payments
  • External relationship management
  • Ability to effectively manage teams, stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Self-motivated and ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with multiple country and regional nuances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and build effective teams
  • Ability to gain consensus across stakeholders

Pay Range:

$156,000 - $234,000

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In this Remote-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Remote work remotely five days per week and come into the office on occasion – you’re always welcome on-site; or select

3. On-Site work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
