This role requires an on-site presence of 3 days per week in the office in Maroussi, Greece.

Your role:

In your role as Associate Director, Clinical & Digital Innovation & Application Lead, you will shape and deliver the automation and AI roadmap for clinical operations, helping make clinical trial execution smarter, faster, and more data-driven. You will help define the clinical trial data strategy and acquisition roadmap, and drive initiatives that improve data flows from source to reporting while evolving the supporting application landscape. Partnering with clinical teams, IT, and external providers, you will ensure the core clinical trial systems and applications are effectively governed, integrated, and continuously improved—so teams can rely on high-quality data and scalable digital capabilities.

Who you are:

  • University degree (Life Science preferred); advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in drug development within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong experience in clinical trial data strategy, data acquisition, and data governance, including defining data standards and improving data flows from source to reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and deliver automation and advanced analytics / AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., applied AI, machine learning, data science, data engineering, BI, strategic analytics) in a regulated clinical environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to on-time delivery, including building business/investment cases where needed.
  • Experience partnering with IT to guide the clinical trial application landscape, including integration best practices and alignment to governance and portfolio priorities.
  • Experience engaging and managing external data and technology providers (e.g., clinical data providers and trial vendors), ensuring strategic fit and smooth integration into the ecosystem.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas and data clearly and escalate risks proactively.
