Our global investment platform comprises more than 500 investment professionals across seven investment functions—Hedge Fund Group, Private Investments, Sustainability, Equity & Fixed Income Boutiques, Research, Science & Strategy, and Trading—spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Together, the platform manages over $1 trillion in assets across the capital structure. Within APAC, the Investment Platform Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring that the region delivers strong investment outcomes supported by the right capabilities, infrastructure, talent, and product offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

This role operates with a high level of autonomy who drives regional strategy execution, strengthens governance, accelerates cross‑functional initiatives, and enhances the infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable investors to perform at their best. The AD will also serve as a central coordination point across functions within Investment Platform and also cross platform. This is also a change agent fostering alignment across global stakeholders while ensuring day‑to‑day platform operations run smoothly.

The role is based in Singapore and reports to the Head of Investment Platform, Asia Pacific.

  • Drive and Execute Regional Strategy
    • Partner with the APAC Investment Platform Leadership Team to translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable plans aligned with global investment priorities.
    • Track progress toward KPIs, identify obstacles, and develop solutions that advance strategic, transformational, and growth initiatives.
  • Strengthen Business Planning & Financial Discipline
    • Lead and coordinate the Business Planning process with Functional ADs and APAC Directors, ensuring each team develops a robust, data‑driven plan.
    • Collaborate closely with Finance to provide cost, resource, productivity, and performance insights that support informed decision‑making and financial stewardship.
  • Act as a Cross‑Functional Change Agent
    • Lead large‑scale, cross‑platform initiatives that enhance APAC’s investment capabilities, infrastructure, and operating model.
    • Influence and align stakeholders across the region and global functions, navigating complex environments to drive momentum and execution.
    • Constructively challenge assumptions and help iterate solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Enhance Technology, Data, and Investor Workflows
    • Partner with IP Technology, Business Intelligence, and the COO Center of Excellence to identify APAC‑specific technology gaps, workflow needs, and data needs.
    • Support the rollout of new tools, data flows, and system improvements to strengthen investor decision‑making and operating efficiency.
  • Lead Regional Cadence & Governance
    • Ensure day‑to‑day platform operations run efficiently behind the scenes, enabling a seamless environment for investors.
    • Maintain strong discipline, structure, and governance across the region.
    • Shape agendas, prepare materials, and manage follow‑ups for APAC Investment Leadership Team meetings, ensuring clear communication and timely execution.
  • Represent APAC Across the Global Investment Platform
    • Act as a primary liaison between APAC and global platform partners, ensuring insights, priorities, and needs are well‑communicated and aligned.
    • Represent the region in global initiatives, steering groups, and leadership forums, elevating APAC’s perspective and driving two‑way connectivity.

We are seeking a mature, strategic thought partner with strong consulting orientation, sound judgment, and the ability to diagnose issues, iterate solutions, influence stakeholders, and drive initiatives to completion. The successful candidate will excel in a highly collaborative global environment and demonstrate outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills. This role also demands strong execution and operational capabilities.

Additional qualifications and attributes include:

  • Deep interest in the investment industry - with demonstrated curiosity, intellectual engagement, and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong problemsolving capability - with experience identifying business challenges and developing practical, implementable solutions that drive measurable improvement.
