Job Description
Associate Director, Advanced Analytics & Modeling

Major Accountabilities:
Advanced Analytics & Modeling Leadership Responsibilities
- Support the establishment and evolution of the I&A Advanced Analytics & Modeling capability, including its roadmap, maturity agenda, investment priorities, and alignment with portfolio priorities, launches, evolving customer and patient needs, and broader I&A strategy.
- Partner with AAM leadership to assess advanced analytics and ad hoc modeling needs across I&A pillars, prioritize demand, and translate business priorities into clear questions, analytical plans, and modeling agendas while challenging low-value or duplicative requests.
- Determine where analytical and limited ad hoc modeling capabilities should be built, incubated, partnered, automated, reused, or retired based on business value, feasibility, differentiation, maturity, and scalability.
- Deploy AIDE AAM expertise to test, learn, and develop reusable analytical approaches, promoting model reuse, consistency, technical standards, interpretability, human oversight, and responsible use.
- Support KDA and related capability development from problem definition through analysis, insight generation, recommendations, and implementation, including early descriptive and contextual analytics.
- Integrate brand and business context into KDA capabilities, support SPT in scaling reusable data science products, and translate complex analytical outputs into clear business storylines for I&A, senior leadership, and business stakeholders.
Integrated Partnership with SPT
- Serve as the AAM point of contact in AIDE/HYD to the SPT Data Science organization for pre-aligned capabilities and initiatives requiring governed data, technical environments, reusable capabilities, productization, integration, deployment, or enterprise scale.
- Partner with I&A and SPT to determine which use cases remain I&A-owned ad hoc analytics versus those transitioning to SPT-owned reusable products, recurring models, engines, or workflows.
Global US-Hyderabad Operating Model
- Establish HYD as an integrated capability and delivery partner, engaged early in portfolio planning, business context, analytical design, execution, quality review, synthesis, and capability development.
- Partner with EH leadership to align capability roadmaps, HYD capacity and expertise deployment, decision rights, work ownership, quality expectations, documentation, and talent priorities, while building HYD AAM capability to independently lead repeatable and increasingly complex analytical work with shared accountability for quality, interpretation, and decision impact.

- Experience leading operating-model transformation, capability centralization or federation, and organizational change.
Leadership Skills:
