The Digital Workplace (DW) department within Enterprise Technology Services provides tools and services to American Express colleagues. The Streaming Team manages various internal company events, globally. This role will function as an Events Service Delivery Technician within the Live Events Streaming team. The role will operate live streaming and videoconferencing events, set-up and test audiovisual locations onsite in New York and remotely alongside global teams, maintain meticulous documentation of room statuses and event activities, respond to customer request tickets, and work closely with the engineering team to ensure availability and optimization of the livestreaming Content Delivery Network (CDN).

  • Provide production support in the execution of all phases of livestream event support
  • Assist with the planning, execution, and delivery of virtual, onsite, and hybrid event productions
  • Perform core technical activities to support infrastructure implementations and deployments
  • Respond to customer request tickets with technical solutions to ensure operational functionality
  • Organize and participate in planning activities for equipment moves, adds, and changes
  • Organize and participate in planning activities for new infrastructure installations
  • Participate in test planning and execution - Work with project teams to guide components from development to production environments
  • Execute test plans to review new products, platforms, and infrastructure Participate in current-state system analysis and requirements gathering for
  • upgrades and troubleshooting Support configuration and implementation deployments
  • Participate in and document troubleshooting activities
  • Work on prioritized/assigned projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with enterprise streaming platforms, Videoconferencing, and virtual events tools
  • Networking experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of principles applicable to audio signal path, routing, AVoIP, and NDI
  • Experience operating production equipment including microphones, audio mixers, video mixers in a live event environment
  • High proficiency user of MS Office Product Suite products including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong email and verbal communication competence
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Quick thinker able to change course when needed
  • Familiarity with a variety of software video editing solutions, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro
  • High capacity for multi-tasking – Ability to monitor and respond to multiple active windows at once; ability to track and communicate progress on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Meticulous attention to detail Range of Impact/Influence:
  • Autonomy: Accountable to deliver quality and on-time work while working independently
  • High visibility: Sr level leader during the operation of events.
