Job Description

  • Recent graduate of bachelor’s or master’s program. Possible fields of study include Health Information Management, Hospital/Health Administration, Business Administration, Planning, Statistics, Health Informatics, Accounting, Finance, Actuary Science or other related field.
  • Familiarity with data management systems, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Analytical skills to assemble, evaluate and understand large and complex information sets, and to identify current and future trends.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with hospital staff and external contacts.
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and a willingness to seek out learning opportunities.

Supports senior and department leadership by conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting with strategic initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in coordinating assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Performs data and research analysis to support leadership decision-making.
  • Prepares reports and presents results to clients in a clear and effective manner.
  • Collaborates with various departments and stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives and support continuous improvement.
  • Conducts research on healthcare industry trends and best practices to inform strategic planning.
  • Participates in professional growth and skill development activities.


Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospital/Health Administration, Business Administration, or other related field, required.
  • Master's Degree, preferred.


Skills:

  • Familiarity with data management systems, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Effective communication and organization skills to interact with medical staff, consultants, external professionals, administrators, and employees at all levels.
  • Ability to convert ambiguity into a framework for advancement of work product and deliverables.
  • Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and a willingness to seek out learning opportunities.


Experience:

Experience in a health care, governmental, or health insurer setting, preferred.
