The Associate Customer Success Specialist (Associate CSS) supports client adoption and satisfaction by delivering foundational product guidance,assistingwith basic training, and documenting client engagements. Working closely with a Customer Success Specialistand Customer Success Manager, the Associate CSS helps customers achieve standardutilizationbenchmarks, escalates blockers appropriately, and contributes to measurable improvements in product usage and client outcomes.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Partner with the assigned CSM/CSS to support bestinclass service for clients.
  • Provide guidance on navigating CDK systems
  • Deliverfoundational product walkthroughs and basic workflow guidance for end users.
  • Follow establishedutilizationbenchmarks and guide customers on standard best practices to achieve them.
  • Assistwith client training sessions (virtual and onsite), scaled webinars, and reference materials.
  • Document all client interactions, action items, and outcomes in internal systems with high accuracy.
  • Identifyroutine blockers and escalate promptly to CSS, Sr CSS, or Customer Care per guidelines.
  • Maintain a learning plan to expand knowledge of CDK products, dealership workflows, and industry basics.
  • Support value conversations by reinforcing how standard features and workflows help achieve client goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to schedule sessions, gather resources, and prepare basic reports as requested.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High sense of urgency; able to deescalate routine issues using empathy.
  • Effective time management and consistent ontime delivery of assignments.
  • Exhibits a strong customerservice-orientedmindset
  • Organization and prioritization skills; attention to detail in documentation.
  • Ability to clearly explain product fundamentals and standard workflows.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations or business process environments.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools for communication, reporting, and analysis
  • Ability to work independently with guidance from CSS/CSM and collaborate within a team.
  • Comfortable operating in aremote andtravelrole
  • Ability toTravel up to25%to dealership locations

PreferredQualifications

  • 1–2 years of professional experience (customer success, support, training, or clientfacing role preferred).
  • Experiencewithautomotive workflows or dealershipoperations
  • Familiarity with CDK’s solutions, implementation, and service models.
  • Experience delivering or supporting enduser training (virtual/onsite).
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
  • Exposure to Salesforceorothercustomer documentation tools

Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
