Cruise Administration Services, Inc. (CASI), a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines, is currently looking for Associate, Crew Health Administration. Only candidates located in Metro Manila, Philippines to apply.

Job Summary:

This role reports to the Manager, Case Management and Clinical Operations and assists with supporting various crew health, case management, and seafarer health operations functions and is an integral part of the global crew health team, providing logistical and administrative support.

They will help maintain necessary documentation regarding the crew members case while also ensuring that communication of the progress of the case is done between the crew members, case management team, providers and other departments is in keeping with data privacy and security requirements. They will also respond to and direct communication from crew, case specialists, providers, health finance and other departments in a timely fashion.

They collaborate closely with the Health Finance and shipboard medical teams to efficiently review and process different kinds of crew reimbursements, adhering to payment deadlines. Ensuring focus on prompt payment and adherence to payment deadlines, they maintain positive relationships with suppliers and service providers. The Associate plays an important role in supporting the team and ensuring the optimal allocation of resources towards crew healthcare needs.

This role will interface with all brands, medical teams onboard, shoreside health services and public health leaders as well as external vendors that manage our healthcare systems. This includes supporting the brands which comprises of eight brands with approximately 95+ ships carrying over 15 million guests annually and employing over 160,000 team members.

Essential functions:

Communication & Coordination:

• Ensures timely distribution and communication related to crew members medical cases such as unfit memos, crew member queries or concerns, return to work memos, approval communications to appropriate parties while following required privacy and security guidelines.

Documentation & Administration:

• Maintains accurate medical records from ships, providers, and crew for medically disembarked or referred crew members. Requests updates from crew members, providers, and vessels in a timely fashion, enters medical updates into databases, health records systems and distributes to appropriate case specialist while following privacy guidelines.

Crew Health Accounts Payable:

• Examine incoming medical invoices for accuracy, completeness, and validity against coverage. Identify and flag discrepancies, duplicate billings, or missing details.

Qualifications:

• More than 1 year of work experience with similar scope and responsibilities is required
• Ability to apply analytical and logistic skills; maintain attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications with working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Must be amenable to work daily onsite in Pasay office
