Location: Manila, Philippines

About the role:

We are currently looking to hire an Associate Creative Director (Art) with 8 to 10 years of experience to manage social networks for a top client. The successful candidate will have a strong background of working with digital and social agencies, and must excel in producing engaging and creative social media and digital work, across planning, strategy and media. An editorial background and creative skills such as Photoshop would be an advantage.

What you will be doing:

  • Taking projects across multiple platforms/channels, from brief to completion, experience with creative ideation and adaptation process whilst working closely within the client’s brand
  • Experience with working on alcohol or other refreshment brands is a
  • Produce digital concepts, design and assets to the client’s brief and exacting standards whilst positively influencing clients with their creative input in addition to undertaking and pitching new creative
  • Produce beautiful and innovative work across digital platforms and channels based on client’s brief
  • Responsible for the full creative lifecycle from concept to execution
  • Work closely with the team to create strong strategy and concepts from the initial briefing
  • Lead in pitching creative solutions in response to Client’s marketing strategies
  • Manage the preparation of all finished artwork files that will comply with the correct output specifications
  • Ensure all design work adheres to the latest digital and social trends and requirements
  • Work with the Creative Director to lead creatives and secure necessary clearances for studio output

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Strong strategy, conceptualization, and art direction, especially on digital channels for client brands
  • Has sufficient knowledge and experience using AI in design and video production
  • A highly creative integrated designer with the ability to take and positively influence client briefs with your own innovative ideas
  • Confident in bringing your own ideas and creativity to projects whilst working within a broad range of design guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral
  • Understanding of design principles and an awareness of UX, UI and Responsive Design
  • Effectively organising and prioritising workloads to manage client delivery whilst simultaneously influencing clients with their own ideas and conceptual creativity
  • High proficiency in Adobe CC suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch After Effects and associated prototyping tools,
  • Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion
  • Ability to take, interpret and deliver design projects within agreed deadlines
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in managing designs for brands across social media, performance marketing, digital branding, e-
  • Preferably someone who comes from a digital first / digital only brand / editorial / agency
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good in handling pressure
  • Confidence and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing client environment
  • A passionate and inspiring creative
  • The aptitude to learn new software and programmes efficiently and effectively
  • Self-motivated, working with little supervision
  • Collaborative team player, open minded – non political
  • Discrete about all confidential and personal information

GenAI and Agentic Thinking:

  • Advanced proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to copywriting and creative direction, used to enhance output quality and efficiency
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for self and team, and supporting others in adopting them effectively
  • Ability to train team members on effective use of AI tools within the copy discipline
  • Agentic approach to managing complex, multi-workstream creative projects — breaking down challenges systematically and identifying clear paths forward
  • Strong understanding of where AI adds value and where human creative judgment must take precedence, with rigorous oversight of AI outputs
