Associate, Corporate Credit Risk Management, ChinaCountry: China
Manage credit risk for Chinese large corporates and MNCs. This includes corporate credit analysis, business plan and transaction assessment and recommendation in cooperation with bankers and product partners, as appropriate.The role also involves presenting, discussing and defending customers and credit facilities/transactions with head office in Europe, and discussing subsidiaries of Chinese corporates /transactions with overseas branches.
Key Responsibilities
Rating Analysis Analyse each of the names, prepare its corresponding rating, and manage the rating validation process.
Risk Approval In cooperation with bankers and product partners, manage the approval process for group limit, client level credit facilities/transactions and etc. This includes assessment of the deliverability and suitability of the business plan, credit facility structure, conditions, risk mitigation and making recommendations, as appropriate.
Portfolio Monitoring Post-approval monitoring of transactions and credit lines, control of global exposure and utilization, and watch information arising about the portfolio and update consequently rating and limit classifications; relevant regulatory monitoring, data reporting etc.
Risk Culture Contribute to the Santander culture that risk is everyone’s responsibility.
Requirements
1.Minimum University degree is required.
2.Around 5 years of corporate credit or risk management experience including corporate credit risk analysis, business case evaluation, approval process experience.
3.Good understanding of Chinese market and business environment.
4.Corporate and trade finance products background is valued.
5.Solid understanding of quantitative risk measurement tools.
6.Strong financial analysis skills
7.Strong presentation skills
8.Languages: English & Mandarin required. Other language like Spanish is a plus.
9.Various: Sound Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Able to work under pressure. Ability to work in a team environment.
