What’s the role?
You’ll join Westpac’s Corporate and Business Development team as part of an internal advisory group working on some of the bank’s most important strategic decisions. This is a hands on role where you’ll help shape growth opportunities across acquisitions, divestments and investments, primarily within financial services and with some of the most exciting new and upcoming organisations locally and globally.
You’ll spend your time building financial models, analysing opportunities, preparing clear advice for senior leaders and supporting transactions from early thinking through to execution. You’ll also keep close to market and sector developments, helping the team stay ahead of emerging trends and opportunities.
You’ll work in a collaborative, high performance environment that values curiosity, learning and teamwork. This is a fulltime role, based in our Sydney office, where you’ll be trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas and grow your capability alongside experienced leaders and advisors.
What do I need?
We’re looking for someone who’s technically very strong, intellectually curious, and thrives in a collaborative environment. If you’re passionate about working with businesses, strategy and transactions, and ready to make an impact, this could be your next move.
