Job Description

Has accountability for the Contracts Administration of allocated Contracts at the projects level. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with internal functions and clients.

    • Prime Contracts Management Plan / Commercial Management Plan / Opportunities (Project Profit Maximization
    • Plan)
    • Project Execution Plans and Functional Procedures
    • Contract Notices and Deliverables Matrix
    • Contract and Commercial Awareness Workshop
    • Contractual Alignment
    • Contract Records Management / Documentation
    • Client Billing
    • Insurance certification
    • Letters of Credit, Bonds, Payment Guarantees, Parent Company Guarantee
    • Flow Down Provisions for Procurement and Subcontract Management
    • Monthly Review Contracts / Commercial Management Plan
    • PMR Attendance / Monthly Project Functional Meetings/ Monthly Legal Meeting
    • Contracts Awareness and Training Monthly Sessions
    • Contract Change Notices
    • Contractual Letters
    • Contract Milestones
    • Contract Schedule Changes
    • Customer Contractual Correspondence
    • Fabrication Progress Reports / Construction Progress Reports / Vessel Progress Reports
    • Project Opportunity and Risk Matrices
    • Close out of Client Billing
    • Close out of Insurance
  • Coordinate:
    • Bonds / Performance/Parent Company Guarantees
    • Insurance Certificates
    • Ensure inputs are received from all functions in relation to any Contractual Matters
    • Customer Correspondence/Review/Distribute/Ensure close out
    • Coordination of Lessons Learned for future bid submissions
  • Interface with all functions including but not limited to:
    • Project Management
    • Engineering
    • Procurement
    • Subcontracts
    • Fabrication
    • Construction
    • Marine Installation
    • Hook Up and Commissioning
    • Consortium or JV Partner
    • QHSE
    • Legal
    • Finance
    • Business Line Management
    • Customer/Client

Essential Qualifications and Education

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Commercial or Quantity Surveying and 0-12 months of functional experience
  • Working experience preferably in Offshore, Subsea, Floating Facilities or Onshore Oil and Gas related projects
  • Is able to build relationships with more senior employees within the function and gains respect from people with varied experience and background
  • Good technical background and knowledge of the oil and gas construction industry
  • Undertakes ad-hoc contractual and commercial assignments and initiatives
  • Fluent in the creation and editing of all Microsoft Office Suite documents
  • Foster an environment of teamwork to maintain high group morale and cooperation
  • Ability to multi-task, with excellent organizational and time management skills to achieve project goals
  • Excellent Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
