Full-Stack Application & Automation Developer

Level: Associate Consultant / Consultant

Location: Bangalore, India

The Full-Stack Application & Automation Developer is responsible for the complete lifecycle of application and automation solution development, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. The role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions that address business needs using Python-based technologies and modern web interfaces.

This role involves building standalone desktop applications, web-based tools, and automation solutions that interact with enterprise systems, databases, and external services. The developer is expected to work closely with business users, analysts, and technical teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.

In addition to core development responsibilities, the developer will contribute to improving development standards, automation practices, and solution architecture. A working understanding of AI-assisted tools and intelligent automation concepts will support faster development cycles, improved accuracy, and enhanced overall solution quality.

Technical Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in application development and enterprise technology environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, including application development, scripting, automation, and data processing.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining standalone Python applications.

• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.

• Hands-on experience with Alteryx or similar workflow automation tools for data transformation and analytics workflows.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, including designing, consuming, and integrating third-party services.

• Experience handling structured and semi-structured data formats such as JSON and XML.

• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases; experience with Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.

• Understanding of application security principles, error handling, and logging mechanisms.

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and frontend best practices.

• Exposure to Power BI, Power Apps, or similar low-code/no-code platforms is an added advantage.

• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and experience using AI-assisted development tools is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom applications and automation solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Build and support Python-based standalone applications and web-enabled tools.

• Develop backend services, automation scripts, and REST API integrations to support enterprise workflows.

• Perform data extraction, validation, transformation, and parsing across multiple data sources.

• Develop intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.

• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability.

• Conduct unit testing, functional testing, and debugging to ensure solution reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices and standards.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution design documents, and user guides.

• Provide application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in production environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.

• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and automation techniques to improve efficiency.
