General Summary:
Location: Qualcomm Bangalore, India
Function: Real Estate & Facilities (QREF)
The Associate Construction Project Manager will support end-to-end delivery of corporate
office and infrastructure projects, including base build and fit-out works. The role requires
close coordination with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure
projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational
standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple construction projects
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Business Units, IT, Security, EHS, Finance) to align requirements
• Assist in driving site execution, tracking progress, and resolving day-to-day issues
Contract & Cost Management
• Track project budgets, cost forecasts, and variances
• Support procurement processes, vendor coordination, and contract administration
• Assist in reviewing contractor invoices, change orders, and commercial
documentation
Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and statutory
requirements
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and
specifications
• Support closure of punch-list items, audits, and compliance observations
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
• Prepare regular project updates, dashboards, and status reports
• Participate in review meetings and escalate risks or delays proactively
• Maintain project documentation and records in internal systems
Project Closeout
• Support testing & commissioning, final inspections, and project handover
• Ensure completion of as-built documentation and closeout processes
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or
related field
• 4–6 years of experience in construction project management (commercial /
corporate projects preferred)
• Experience working with contractors, consultants, and PMC environments
Key Skills
• Project coordination and execution
• Basic cost and contract management understanding
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Working knowledge of project scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred)
Preferred Experience
• Exposure to large campus developments or corporate office projects
• Familiarity with statutory approvals and regulatory processes
• Experience with project management systems (e.g., Unifier or similar tools)
Success Metrics
• Schedule adherence and timely milestone delivery
• Cost visibility and variance control
• Quality and safety compliance
• Effective coordination across stakeholder
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Construction Project Management or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 5+ years of Construction Project Management or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Construction Project Management or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
