We invite you to bring your education and experience into play as you manage the construction activities for face paced Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) projects in the manufacturing industry. You will join our Advanced Manufacturing Team within our Energy Market.

As our new Construction Manager, you will be part of our Advanced Manufacturing Project Management team based out of Syracuse, NY, but you will be located on specific projects throughout the United States and possibly Canada.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Plans, schedules, and oversees other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
• Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project to review job specific issues (schedules, health & safety issues, subcontractor coordination, etc.). Assign roles and responsibilities for field activities in accordance with the company practices.
• Leads team with the change orders process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.
• Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
• Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor).
• Collaborates with Project Manager in the development and modification to the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Provide updates to the Project Manager in accordance with the PEP as it relates to cost, schedule and client management.
• Estimates cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
• As the primary interface with clients during a project, obtains client feedback and maintains client relationships.
• Manages the execution of the commissioning and closeout processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Previous experience in a construction related field (management level not required)
• Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
• Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
• Travel required (75-100%)

Salary Transparency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $57,600 - $75,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
