The primary focus of the position is to provide outstanding service to internal and external clients and to aid in the management and administration of our complex loan servicing portfolio through the superior execution of several core functions including but not limited to system maintenance, interacting with Loan Administration, Asset Management, Originations, Closing Coordinators, Investor Reporting and Accounting. The position will also provide leadership and direction to more junior team members. Performance of these duties at a high level of accuracy and responsiveness is critical to the department to respond to time-sensitive requests & other key functions that ensure the lender remains in compliance with all the investor's Lument services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review uniform commercial code (UCC) filings and obtain necessary documents.
• Analyze UCC filings to determine priority security position and potential collateral security risks.
• Ensures initial UCC filings for all commercial loans are filed timely and accurately.
• Prepare UCC continuations and/or terminations for state and county jurisdictions for timely recording in collaboration with a third-party vendor.
• Respond to all internal and external customer inquiries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Assist junior team members with workflow to ensure deadlines are accomplished.
• Review and QC loan payoffs, for accurate calculations, document releases, and terminations, per established procedures.
• Report departmental statistics as required.
• Provide regular status updates to the manager regarding any outstanding items or deadlines.
• This position will handle the more complex functions and will assist in training junior team members.
• Cross-train in all areas of the Loan Servicing and Asset Management department to gain a full understanding of all aspects of departmental responsibilities and assist management with special projects related to department goals or as may be needed by the team.
• Ensure that proper notification, communication, and coordination occur with Lument’s legal and compliance personnel, when applicable. Ensure that all job functions are executed in compliance with all investor requirements and Lument’s policies and procedures.
• Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
• Work with IT department to test and implement system updates.
• Assist in compiling data samples for department audits.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance, Real Estate, Management or Business
• 1-3 years in commercial mortgage servicing or commercial real estate is required, with exposure to FHA, USDA, Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae loans. An equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge and skill set to perform the job functions will be considered.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients (internal & external), all investors, legal counsel, and others. Must also demonstrate an excellent customer service attitude.
• Creative and effective problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and analytical skills
• The ability to effectively self-manage and work independently while functioning as a highly effective member of the team.
• This position requires access to sensitive and confidential information. It is expected that this information remains both internally and externally to the company as applicable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and list other relevant systems or software.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines;
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously.
• Assist junior team members in managing and prioritizing their workload.
• Support the manager as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities.
• Professional business image and excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing (spelling, grammar, and punctuation)
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment.
