
The Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Clinical Nurse Manager in leading day-to-day unit operations with a strong focus on patient throughput, staffing coordination, and frontline leadership. This role serves as a bridge between bedside nursing staff and unit leadership, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient patient care delivery. The ANM plays a key role in managing patient flow, optimizing bed utilization, reducing discharge delays, and ensuring the unit meets operational and quality targets.

Behavioral health illnesses including but not limited to bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, psychosis, etc..
Dialysis
Patients with acute or chronic renal failure or chronic renal disease.
Endoscopy
Chronic pain management, endoscopic procedures of cardiovascular, GI, pulmonary conditions and disease, etc..
Emergency Department
Triage, assess and treat patients of all age presenting for emergency care for all body systems, conditions and diseases including but not limited to: coronary, pulmonary, neuro, skeletal muscular, GI/metabolic, GU/renal, GYN, integumentary, etc..
Intermediate Care
Monitored post-surgical care including but not limited to neuro, GI, GU/GYN, peripheral vascular interventions, orthopedic procedures, etc.. Medical diagnoses including but not limited to: cardiac, pulmonary, neuron, GI, VCA/TIA and renal conditions, etc..
Medical Surgical
Medical/Surgical diagnoses including but not limited to orthopedic, neuron, GI, GU/GYN, renal, metabolic, pulmonary systems and those requiring isolation/precautions.
Telemetry/Medical/Surgical
Cardiac/cardiovascular, neuro, GI conditions and diseases including not limited to: CAD, PVD, COPD, CHF, metabolic disorders, etc.
Telemetry/Stroke
Cardiac/cardiovascular, neuron, renal, GI conditions and diseases including but not limited to: CAD, PVD, CVA/TIA, COPD, CHF, metabolic disorders, etc.
Wound Care
GI, GYN/GU, integumentary conditions and diseases including but not limited to all ostomy diversion surgeries, wound care, pressure sore/ulcer etc..

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Acute-care inpatient setting with high volume and dynamic patient flow. Requires flexibility to cover a variety of shifts, including weekends and nights, to support 24/7 operations. Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, blood-borne pathogens, and potential injury
Physical demands include but are not limited to consideration stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing heavy equipment and excessive standing and walking. Lifting approximately 25-50 lbs. frequently; lifting 50-10 lbs. with assistance occasionally. Some departments require the ability to distinguish colors
