The Capital Planning and Tracking Associate is responsible for performing key functions within the Infrastructure Management portfolio. The Associate, Capital Planning and Tracking is a key function in the development of Saskatchewan Health Care, partnering with finance leaders to achieve Infrastructure Management goals. Reporting to the Manager Asset Planning and Development, the Associate is responsible for formulating construction project budgets and ensuring that expenses are in line with commitments. The associate analyses accounting operations and ensures their reporting and control fall within parameters set by the SHA on each project. Forecasting is an important part of the job for the Associate. Extrapolating internal and external data in collaboration with Project Management and Planner Specialist to come up with the most accurate forecasts.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • 1 year experience in contruction project or finance reporting

Education

  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Accounting is acceptable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Accounting diploma is acceptable
