Job Description

Possess strong communication and organization skills, product and inventory flow knowledge, and a balance of analytical and creative abilities to positively help execute and deliver the bottom-line profit of his/her Aerie area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand Seasonal Concepts, Key Investments, Key Ideas, Key Items, Lifespans, and Programs to overall execute Product Strategy for

each season.

 Analytical skills to measure product performance on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis for retail, e-comm and wholesale businesses.

 Executing buys for some categories per Buyer’s lead.

 Focused on Inventory management tasks, which include Making sure Purchase Orders are being issued correctly and on time,

communicating to the planning team on pending purchase orders and update product information on system to provide full visibility on

product flow.

 Tracking of receipts and communicating product delays to cross functional teams.

 Constantly updating systems or buying files to provide correct information and visibility on product attributes such as lifespan, store

groups, tickets, units or ship modes to the buying, inventory planning and planning teams. And analyst team for wholesale.

 Communicate and deliver constantly the Product Strategy to the cross-functional teams for them to execute the strategy effectively.

 Responsible of executing weekly the sales performance action plan, coordinate execution of promotions, revising daily product updates,

revising ticket discrepancies and communicating all of the above if needed to the correspondent cross functional teams.

 Work closely with the Visual and Operations team on making sure that each floorset gets executed as planned.

 Provide to the Operations Team with all the information needed to execute the merchandising strategy in stores such as: Floorset

Product Placement Guides, Early set product documents, ticket discrepancies information and re ticket actions, seasonal key looks for

personal appearance Standards for associates and all that they may need on product purposes.

 Visit Stores at least once a month with the Buyers to get feedback on product performance and floorset execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent.

 At least 2 years’ experience in the merchandising or apparel retail industry.

 English Speaking, daily communication with US partners.

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 Strong team working skills.

 Effective organizational skills.

 Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and deadline oriented.

 Ability to act as liaison between many departments.

 Confidence and persuasive abilities, ready to try new ways of doing things to improve learning.

 Analytical and Passionate individual will be most successful in this and future roles.

 Ability of negotiation with partners, grounded in mutual respect and open communication.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office
