Our team of experts is dedicated to helping clients stabilise their operations, optimize performance, and achieve sustainable growth.

You will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of business recovery and restructuring projects. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients to develop and implement effective recovery strategies.

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Role specific

  • Assist in the assessment and analysis of clients' financial and operational performance.

  • Support the development and implementation of business recovery and restructuring strategies.

  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential recovery solutions.

  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and senior team members.

  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of data.

  • Assist in the development of cash flow forecasts, budgets, and business plans.

  • Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Support clients in negotiations with creditors, stakeholders, and other parties involved in the restructuring process.

  • Stay current with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact business recovery efforts.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business recovery methodologies and tools.

  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate completion of business recovery engagements.

  • Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA /MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand key business drivers
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written English
  • Demonstration of strong understanding of fundamentals in financial analysis, accounting principles, and business operations is an added advantage.

  • Possess good leadership skills and demonstrate resilience
  • Able to demonstrate ability to interact with people of different backgrounds and build meaningful relationships
