Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Explore and identify business opportunities within eHealth, patient-journey simplification, and consumer-driven ecosystems across Obesity and Liver health.
  • Scout and evaluate potential partnerships to address unmet needs across the end-to-end patient journey.
  • Negotiate and establish partnerships; finalise agreements and drive performance management to ensure delivery outcomes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and maximize impact.

Main job tasks

1. Explore and identify business opportunities within eHealth, patient-journey simplification, and consumer-driven ecosystems across Obesity and Liver health
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities within eHealth, patient-journey simplification, and consumer-driven ecosystems
- Evaluate potential business models, sales channels, and pricing strategies tailored to Obesity and Liver health
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making

2. Scout and evaluate potential partnerships to address unmet needs across the end-to-end patient journey
- Identify and assess potential partners to address gaps in the patient journey, focusing on innovative solutions
- Conduct due diligence to evaluate partnership opportunities, including financial viability and strategic alignment
- Provide detailed evaluations and recommendations to ensure partnerships meet organisational objectives

3. Negotiate and establish partnerships; finalise agreements and drive performance management to ensure delivery outcomes
- Lead negotiations with partners, ensuring agreements align with business goals and address unmet needs
- Finalise partnership agreements, including terms related to financial arrangements and intellectual property rights
- Monitor and manage partnership performance to ensure delivery outcomes and maximise impact

4. Build and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and maximise impact
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive collaboration
- Act as a liaison to ensure alignment between stakeholders and organisational objectives
- Facilitate regular communication and engagement to strengthen partnerships and foster trust

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is required. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, is preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnership, or related commercial roles within FMCG, Wellness & Fitness, B2C industries.
- Proven track record in identifying and negotiating external innovation opportunities.
- Strong expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
