Junior Business Development support role for edge-AI engagements (inference/vision/industrial). Focus is on pipeline creation and qualification, supporting partner/ISV-driven pursuits, and enabling senior BD resources with research, coordination, and reporting, while learning how to position Supermicro edge offerings in customer environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Support prospecting/qualification for edge AI opportunities; manage follow-ups, scheduling, and next steps tracking
  • Use CRM to track pipeline and assist with reporting/forecast updates for the team
  • Assist in RFP/RFI coordination and organize inputs from engineering/product as directed
  • Coordinate internal resources (engineering/product) for technical Q&A and proof-of-concept logistics (as directed)
  • Provide market research summaries (trends, key partners, competitor signals) for senior BD managers
  • Help prepare customer-facing materials and deal support docs (presentations, one-pagers, ROI support)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–2 years experience (sales support/sales/BD)
  • Demonstrated curiosity about AI/edge workloads; strong written/speaking skills and teamwork
  • Comfortable with structured outreach and maintaining CRM management and upkeep
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand technical concepts and effectively communicate their value

Salary Range

$70,500 - $104,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
