Associate Business Analyst / Business Analyst – Investor Relations

Department: Global Finance

Organization: Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS) India

Lead financial storytelling that shapes how the world sees our mission to defeat serious chronic disease.

Your new role

As an Associate Business Analyst / Business Analyst in Investor Relations, you'll play a vital role in translating our financial performance and strategic vision into compelling narratives for the capital markets. You'll be at the intersection of finance, strategy, and communication—where data becomes insight and insight drives investor confidence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, and Capital Markets Day content that communicate our performance and strategy
  • Driving financial analysis and generating insights that shape how we tell our story to investors and analysts
  • Tracking and analysing share price performance, valuation metrics, and peer benchmarking to understand our market positioning
  • Analysing investor feedback, analyst reports, and market commentary to identify trends and expectations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Finance, Strategy, Commercial, and R&D to gather relevant financial and business information
  • Leading reporting automation and digitalisation initiatives using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SAP to enhance efficiency
  • Maintaining IR databases, dashboards, and reporting trackers while driving continuous improvement in our processes

Your new department

In Finance, Legal & Global Solutions, we enable Novo Nordisk to fulfil our purpose by safeguarding the business, providing corporate infrastructure, and driving value creation. We are a team of 2,300 colleagues primarily based at our headquarters in Denmark and our Global Business Services centres in India and Mexico.

You'll be joining Finance Global Business Services (GBS), which delivers financial, analytical, procurement, compliance, and digital services across the end-to-end finance value chain for Novo Nordisk globally. As a growing technology-led function, the team supports procurement, accounts payable, accounting tax & treasury, financial planning & analytics, commercial analytics, and digital excellence & communications. Within this dynamic environment, the Investor Relations function serves as the bridge between our company and the capital markets, translating our mission and performance into insights that resonate with investors worldwide.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an analytical storyteller who can transform complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives. You'll bring with you:

  • Master's degree in Finance (or equivalent) from a well-recognised institute with a strong academic track record
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in Commercial Analytics, Investor Relations, equity research, consulting, or financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation metrics, and capital markets dynamics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create executive-level materials
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across diverse teams
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation tools (preferred)
  • Experience with financial databases (e.g., IQVIA) is an added advantage
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is a plus.
