Here's what you'll do:

Business Analysis & Requirements Support

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements from stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial teams.
  • Support process mapping and workflow documentation activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and help document business needs, action items, and proposed solutions.
  • Assist senior team members in evaluating business requirements and translating them into functional system requests.

Business Application Support

  • Provide first-level support for business applications used across Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial functions.
  • Track, document, and assist in resolving application issues, escalating complex problems to IT support teams when needed.
  • Support application testing, configuration updates, and documentation of system changes.
  • Assist with maintaining application-related procedures, user guides, and knowledge base documentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and system requirements.
  • Support communication and coordination between business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in facilitating discussions related to process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to support project and operational objectives.

Business Analytics & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and report operational, supply chain, and system performance data to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Support data validation activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of business reporting.
  • Assist with identifying trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Document and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests from business stakeholders.

Project & System Support

  • Support business and system improvement projects through planning, documentation, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test cases, executing tests, documenting results, and helping track issue resolution.
  • Assist with preparing project documentation, training materials, and status updates.
  • Maintain process documentation and workflow maps related to business systems and operational processes.

User Support & Training

  • Provide basic guidance and support to internal users regarding business applications and reporting tools.
  • Assist with onboarding and training activities for new users and system enhancements.
  • Create and maintain user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
  • Track common user questions and issues and recommend improvements to enhance user experience.

Continuous Improvement

  • Help identify opportunities to improve business processes, reporting capabilities, and system utilization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data and documenting recommended actions.
  • Participate in process improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, scalability, and data visibility.
  • Assist in measuring and tracking the impact of implemented improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation in accordance with company quality and compliance requirements.
  • Adhere to company safety, environmental health, and regulatory policies.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems, Life Sciences, or any other equivalent degree or experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with business applications
  • Experience or exposure to Microsoft Excel, Power BI, ERP/CRM systems, business application support, reporting, documentation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to solve practical problems, define cause and effect, map dependencies in process.
  • Organized, detail oriented, analytical, curious, with demonstrated troubleshooting and investigation skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask with organization and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with guidance as needed, in a complex global environment;
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, capacity for team environment, and exhibits a genuine interest in drug discovery in support of advancing human health.

Pay rate range: $36 - $38/hr.

Schedule:

  • The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
