General Description of the role
As an Associate Brand Manager (ABM), you will have a great opportunity to support the development and execution of annual brand plans by collaborating with a dynamic, cross-
functional team. This role provides a unique opportunity to support and influence one or more brands to include agency partner management, social, creative, PR, sales, events, marketing analytics and product supply chain. The ideal candidate is passionate about the latest industry trends, highly organized and has the ability to build compelling stories in a fast-paced environment that embraces change together.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Brand Execution
Support the development and execution of brand plans across the Aperitifs portfolio, with the preparation of brand presentations, analysis, reports and business reviews. Enable the creative process by collaborating with the brand team and agency partners to ensure brilliant execution across tactics, that ladder up to a clear positioning and creative idea. Develop and manage the execution of marketing activities across relevant touchpoints, proposing adjustments to plans where appropriate, and ensuring measurement and evaluation processes are put in place early that reflect the objectives of each tactic.

Budget Management and performance analysis
Assist in the development and management of A&P marketing budgets ensuring efficiencies in the annual plan. Manage the portfolio A&P, with responsibility for invoicing, budget forecasting and planning, working closely with the finance, accounting team and vendors as needed.
Review brand, category and competitor performance, and assess performance of brand activities, by analysing and interpreting financial and non-financial information to make key recommendations on brand activities.

Relationship Management
Provide ongoing communication and act as a brand champion with the team to ensure alignment and execution on key initiatives while building collaborative and productive
relationships. Develop strong relationships with Finance, Supply, Sales and Customer Channel Marketing teams to enhance the overall brand experience for consumers. Work closely with a variety of cross functional team members, oversee meetings, agendas and coordinate brand
activation activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in brand management with CPG experience, spirits background preferred
  • Passion for spirits industry and for marketing overall
  • MBA preferred; BA/BS required
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present with confidence
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving
  • Creative thinker who can champion the brand and bring it to lif
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights and judgment
  • Financial literacy and budget management experience
  • Experience collaborating with creative agency partners
  • Thrives in an environment that is fast paced and able to adapt to changing situations
