Associate, Digital Learning, will work with faculty and staff to help them use digital tools effectively in face-to-face, blended, and online learning. He/she will support the development of digital learning resources, help deliver professional development activities, contribute to monitoring and evaluation, and support research related to technology and education.
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Associate, Digital Learning at the Network of Quality, Teaching and Learning (QTL_net).
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- support the design, development, review, and improvement of online and blended courses and programmes in collaboration with academic units, support units, and the BDL team
- support the planning, organizing, facilitation, and evaluation of professional development activities for faculty and staff on learning design, online and blended learning, educational technologies, and digital education practices
- coordinate assigned activities for digital learning pilot projects and innovation projects, including scheduling, implementation support, data collection, documentation, and follow-up
- provide first-line guidance and support to faculty and staff on selecting and using institutionally supported digital learning technologies and tools
- develop, review, update, and maintain practical resources such as course design templates, checklists, guides, toolkits, multimedia materials, and other faculty support resources
- support the consistent use and ongoing improvement of learning design processes, service workflows, documentation, and quality assurance practices
- maintain an organized, up-to-date, and accessible repository of approved digital learning resources, examples of good practice, institutional guidance, and related documentation
- support digital learning innovation and research by assisting with seed grant activities, maintaining project records, documenting outcomes, contributing to research and dissemination activities, and supporting collaboration with relevant internal and external partners
- prepare newsletters, announcements, project updates, success stories, case studies, presentations, and other communications that promote digital learning initiatives and share good practices
- support and coordinate knowledge-sharing activities, such as communities of practice, showcases, workshops, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement events.
- collect, validate, and analyze project, service, participation, engagement, satisfaction, and evaluation data to support monitoring and continuous improvement
- develop and maintain project documentation, trackers, dashboards, progress reports and evaluation summaries, and highlight key findings or issues for further review
- maintain effective working relationships with faculty, students, academic support teams and other stakeholders through clear communication, timely coordination and follow-up on assigned activities
- stay up to date with developments in learning design, educational technologies, artificial intelligence, digital pedagogy, and higher education innovation, and apply relevant learning to assigned projects and services
- participate in relevant professional learning activities and contribute to team learning by sharing useful resources, tools, practices, and lessons learned.
