Our client, a well-established foreign corporate bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Associate in the Banking Operations department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately monitor and handle both inward and outward remittances.
• Ensure smooth processing of cheque clearances and manage cheque collection requests.
• Conduct thorough checks and verifications to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and execute customer instructions, including new deposits, deposit rollovers, FX transactions, issuing bank reference letters, cashier's orders, demand drafts, and cash services.
• Assist with other banking operations tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in banking operations
• Strong understanding of remittance processes and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to adapt to changing processes and procedures
