Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national law firm and the largest minority owned law firm in the United States, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Florida Foreclosure practice group. This is a full-time remote position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

The Associate Attorney will work with our Foreclosure practice group handling matters involving residential and commercial foreclosure, creditor’s rights, and related litigation.

We are seeking an attorney with experience in foreclosure, creditor’s rights, or a related area of civil litigation who is interested in joining a growing practice. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle foreclosure, creditor’s rights, and related litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft and review complaints, motions, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and case analyses
  • Attend hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and other court proceedings
  • Manage discovery and respond to litigation-related requests
  • Develop case strategies and provide recommendations regarding the progression and resolution of matters
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and developments
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff
  • Maintain compliance with court deadlines, client reporting requirements, and internal case management procedures
  • Assist with settlement negotiations and other resolution efforts as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar required
  • Experience in foreclosure, creditor’s rights, or related civil litigation preferred
  • Knowledge of Florida court procedures and applicable rules preferred
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple matters, priorities, and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a legal team
  • Professional, responsive, and client-service oriented
