
A mid-size Chicago-based insurance defense firm has an immediate opening for Associate Attorneys in our St. Louis office to handle local and national accounts. Admission to practice in Missouri is required, with preference given to candidates also admitted to the Illinois, Texas, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, or Iowa bar. Our firm’s expertise spans toxic tort, complex product liability, general liability, and professional liability. We pride ourselves on a team-based approach to litigation, offering a level of customer service, flexibility, and responsiveness not often found in larger firms.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong case management skills, precision in legal writing, and professionalism in depositions and court hearings across multiple jurisdictions. Candidates must be hard-working, motivated, and capable of independent work. Ideal candidates will possess excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills, the ability to think strategically under pressure, and a client-focused mentality.

Compensation and Benefits Overview: $90,000-$130,000 (DOE)
The compensation offered for this role will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligible employees may also receive bonuses and other forms of compensation, contributing to a comprehensive total rewards package. Benefits offerings may vary by location.
