Job Description

This is a management-level position focused on overseeing the delivery of a major healthcare project in Queensland, taking responsibility for on-the-ground coordination, technical delivery and stakeholder management.

The role sits within an established national architecture practice, working closely with the Sydney and Melbourne studios to coordinate construction documentation, oversee quality assurance and ensure project requirements are being met. A key part of the position involves managing consultants, resolving technical issues and maintaining effective communication between the project teams.

As the senior architectural representative on the ground in Brisbane, the Associate will play a central role in client liaison, managing RFIs, coordinating stakeholders and overseeing day-to-day project delivery. The position requires someone comfortable taking ownership of complex project requirements and keeping multiple teams aligned throughout construction.

What the role requires

• Architect with extensive experience delivering large-scale healthcare projects, ideally through construction.
• Proven experience managing consultants, contractors and client relationships, including RFIs, site coordination and resolving technical issues.
• Advanced technical knowledge of construction documentation, NCC/BCA requirements and quality assurance, with the ability to manage project delivery independently at an Associate level.
