Associate Analyst Identity & Access Management, IAM

Responsible for assisting with the administration and governance of user and machine access across the organization, typically focused on a specific area such as user access recertification, management of access to the electronic medical record (EMR) or user authentication configuration. This role supports enterprise-level processes that control user access, account provisioning and de-provisioning, enforcement of access control policies, and coordination of access recertification efforts.Contributes to effective user management by addressing a high-volume of access-related security issues while ensuring practices align with security requirements and company policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Fulfill access requests to key applications and other entitlements including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring appropriate permissions and compliance with security policies and training requirements.
  • Monitor access controls and respond to access-related security incidents, performing initial analysis and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of access management workflows to ensure efficiency, compliance, and positive user experience.
  • Apply established access control policies, standards, and best practices, including zero trust and least privilege models.
  • Perform access recertification processes, including execution and follow-up to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to share information, interpret requirements, and resolve issues related to identity and access management.
  • Update and follow documentation of IAM processes, promoting best practices and consistency.
  • Participate in training and learning opportunities to develop skills and stay current with IAM best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, technology, engineering, and math discipline

Experience - Required

  • Less than 1 year related work experience.
