Job SummaryBuild the next generation of enterprise AI solutions with hands-on engineering, modern Microsoft technologies, and collaborative technical guidance.

We are looking for an Associate AI Solutions Engineer to help design, build, test, and deploy practical enterprise AI applications, copilots, and agents. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside senior engineers to turn business and technical requirements into secure, scalable AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent Builder, Power Platform, Azure services, and GitHub Copilot development tools.

This is a great opportunity for an early-career AI-focused engineer who already has experience in software, cloud, data, automation, or application engineering and wants to grow in the rapidly evolving space of generative AI and agentic applications. You will contribute to real-world solution delivery while developing deeper expertise in AI engineering practices, secure integrations, grounding and retrieval, evaluation, observability, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, integrate, and deploy enterprise AI applications, copilots, agents, and supporting components under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop solution components using Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent Builder, Power Platform, Azure services, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Create agent actions, tools, APIs, connectors, workflows, integrations, prompts, structured outputs, and tool-use flows using approved patterns and secure interfaces.
• Develop application components and agent backends using Python and/or C#/.NET, Azure Functions, REST APIs, source control, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise APIs, Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, databases, SaaS applications, and other approved data sources.
• Build grounding and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities using enterprise content, Azure AI Search, embeddings, vector search, Fabric data assets, and permission-aware retrieval patterns.
• Support Power Automate flows, Power Apps, custom connectors, Dataverse components, Fabric pipelines, notebooks, lakehouses, warehouses, and semantic models that enable AI solutions.
• Implement secure identity and access practices, including authentication, authorization, managed identities, least-privilege access, secret handling, and data-protection controls using Entra ID and related Azure services.
• Create evaluation datasets and automated tests to assess AI quality, grounding, safety, task completion, and regression behavior.
• Apply logging, tracing, monitoring, and telemetry practices to evaluate quality, latency, reliability, model usage, consumption, and failures; escalate risks or anomalies as needed.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, documentation, customer workshops, implementation sessions, troubleshooting, and production deployments.
• Continue building independence in delivering AI applications, agents, and integrations of increasing complexity, with senior engineering review for architecture and production decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software, cloud, data, application, solution, automation, or AI engineering.
• Hands-on experience contributing to the design, build, testing, integration, or deployment of AI, generative AI, or agentic applications through professional work, substantial projects, or comparable experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft AI and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Agent Builder, Power Platform, Azure AI services, Microsoft Graph, Azure AI Search, and GitHub Copilot.
• Experience developing application components using Python and/or C#/.NET, REST APIs, GitHub or similar source control, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience integrating applications with enterprise APIs, data sources, Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, databases, or SaaS platforms.
• Working knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector search, grounding, prompt development, structured outputs, and basic agent design concepts.
• Understanding of cloud security and identity practices, including Entra ID, least privilege, secure data access, secret handling, and Responsible AI fundamentals.
• Ability to support evaluation datasets, automated testing, logging, tracing, monitoring, and telemetry for AI applications.
• Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, curiosity, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under technical guidance and incorporate feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Microsoft certifications or Applied Skills in Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 agent development, or related technologies.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot coding agents, custom agents, reusable instructions or skills, or approved MCP integrations in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Experience building Microsoft 365 declarative or custom-engine agents and extending Microsoft 365 Copilot through supported skills, plugins, connectors, or APIs.
• Exposure to Microsoft Agent 365 governance, identity, observability, and security controls for enterprise agents.
• Experience with multiple model providers, including Microsoft-hosted models, OpenAI, or Anthropic; containerized applications; or infrastructure-as-code.
