Astute Business Solutions is seeking a motivated and innovative Associate AI Engineer to join our growing AI and Cloud Solutions team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Python development, and cloud technologies through internships, academic projects, research, certifications, or personal projects.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and modern web technologies.

Job Title: Associate AI Engineer (Entry-Level)

Location: Remote

Employment Type: FTE

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and deploying AI-powered applications using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Build and enhance Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques.

• Participate in the development of Agentic AI workflows and autonomous task automation systems.

• Develop Python-based services, APIs, and automation tools.

• Support the creation of modern web applications that integrate AI capabilities.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design scalable cloud-native solutions.

• Participate in testing, debugging, and optimizing AI applications.

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation within the next 12 months) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in Python programming.

• Academic, internship, research, hackathon, certification, or personal project experience involving:

  • Artificial Intelligence

  • Machine Learning

  • Generative AI

  • Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Understanding of APIs, web services, and software development fundamentals.

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience using AI frameworks such as:

  • LangChain

  • CrewAI

  • AutoGen

  • LlamaIndex

• Experience with Generative AI platforms such as:

  • OpenAI

  • OCI Generative AI

  • Anthropic Claude

  • Google Gemini

• Familiarity with:

  • FastAPI

  • Flask

  • React

  • Node.js

• Coursework, certifications, or projects involving:

  • Machine Learning

  • Natural Language Processing

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • AI Agents

• Experience participating in hackathons, AI competitions, research projects, or open-source initiatives.
