Associate Agreement

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Modality: Hybrid

Reports to: Global Long-term Agreements Manager

Language Requirement: Advanced English (mandatory)

The Associate Agreement reviews, analyzes, and approves Special Price Requests (SPRs) using data analytics generated from DGS within an Industry Affinity model and with Delegation of Authority limits.

Under the guidance of the Global Agreements Manager, this role operates with moderate supervision. It leverages data analysis, pricing strategies, and standard policies and procedures to drive data-driven decisions. Specifically, these decisions involve approving and renewing Customer Special Price Agreements.

This position meaningfully contributes in pricing negotiations, process improvement, and collaboration, ensuring and profitable agreements across global markets.

Important Responsibilities

Pricing and Agreements Management

  • Review, analyze, and approve Special Price Requests (SPRs) following Delegation of Authority and internal controls.
  • Lead price negotiation activities, providing data-backed recommendations.
  • Renew Customer Long-term Pricing Agreements and manage agreement modifications.
  • Support Sales teams in accomplishing pricing strategies and negotiations

Data Analysis & Decision-Making

  • Use data-driven analytics (DGS, SAP) to evaluate pricing requests and commercial opportunities.
  • Perform data analysis, modeling, and reporting to support decisions.
  • Apply statistical methods to analyze price variance, market trends, and customer behavior
  • Develop data-supported business cases for pricing approvals and escalations.

Process Improvement & Operations

  • Identify and improve and optimization projects within pricing and agreement workflows.
  • Implement Outlier Management initiatives within defined guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and pricing governance frameworks

Commercial & Market Evaluation

  • Analyze market conditions, competitive positioning, and product strategies to guide pricing decisions.
  • Evaluate project-based opportunities and temporary agreements
  • Understand distribution channels and global cross-border considerations (FX, responsibilities).

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including:
    • Sales
    • Customer Care
    • Finance
    • Product & Teams
    • Distributors
  • Communicate with team members to escalate pricing requests and provide fact-based recommendations
  • Partner with global teams to ensure agreement and consistency in pricing strategy.

Leadership and Competencies

  • Demonstrate and pricing expertise
  • Create data-driven decision-making and communicate insights.
  • Present recommendations to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Exhibit professional and a continuous improvement mindset

Main Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, pricing, or commercial roles (B2B/industrial environment preferred).
  • Experience in data analysis, modeling, and interpretation
  • Experience with SAP (mandatory or preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) and analytical tools.
  • Experience with pricing strategy,, and commercial decision-making
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Advanced English (mandatory)
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of pricing governance and delegation of authority frameworks
  • Exposure to process improvement or programs
